Kohl's验厂——人权/反恐/品质

  Kohl's验厂要审核人权,品质和反恐三个项目,品质占的比重很大。

  KOHL'S人权验厂的标准Code of Conduct,是COC验厂标准中一种,官方称作KOHL'S商业伙伴合作条款。KOHL’S人权验厂与其他美国客户人权验厂的要求比较接近,但是却又有自己特别的地方。 KOHL’S的人权验厂基本每家工厂都需要进行,审核结果对订单有着非常大的关系。如有严重的问题或几次验厂均不能通过,将会不能下单或影响出货。品质和反恐验厂,不是每家工厂都要进行,具体根据客户的要求安排。

 

Kohl's验厂的特别要求是什么?

  1.KOHL'S验厂基本上要求零问题, 所以一次性通过的可能性很小;

  2.KOHL'S验厂首次审核为通知审核,复审基本为不通知审核;

  3.KOHL'S验厂关于保险有着特别的要求,尤其是工伤保险;以及其它更多的特别要求。

 

通过kohls验厂的好处:

  (1)全球性的行业认证项目,一个认证适用不同的客人,减少不同的买家在不同时间来进行验厂的次数;

  (2)建立符合国际要求的管理体系,可得到国际认可,增加与知名品牌正面竞争的能力;

  (3)促使消费者对产品建立正面情感;

  (4)提升管理系统,改善与员工的关系,从而提高生产力从而提高利润;

  (5)稳固与采购商的合作,并拓宽新市场,为长期的发展奠定坚实的基础;

  (6)最小化潜在的商业风险比如工伤乃至工亡,法律诉讼或者是失去订单;

  (7)开发新市场和客户:有社会责任的公司将从竞争对手中脱颖而出。

Kohls验厂重点审核项目:

  一、公司的合法性:客人通过对公司营业执照、税收登记证、消防走火图等文件数据的查看以证实该公司是否合法及安全。

 二、工作时间:公司必需要按当地的法律法规确保工人的休息时间,每周至少休息一天,每周工作不可以超过60个小时。

 三、童工和未成年工:客人绝对禁止公司雇用未满16周岁的童工,能接受雇用16周岁以上18周岁以下的未成年工,但必需有政府部门的批文以及有实际行动确保未成年工的身心健康。

  四、劳动报酬:平时加班及法定假日加班要按当地法律规定的资率支付员工的工资,并且每个月的工资不可以低于当地的最低工资标准。客人一般会查看最近3个月或12个月的员工考勤及工资发放记录。

 五、惩戒性措施:客人不接受公司对员工进行任何的罚款、打骂等措施,更不接受公司有强迫劳动的行为。

  六、岐视:客人不允许公司在录用及提升员工的时候存在有性别、种族、年龄、信仰等各方面的岐视。验厂人员一般会查看所有的在职人员人事档案及最近6个月离职的人事档案及劳动合同。

  七、反恐:对人员来往以及货物的流通不仅要有相应的程序,还要有相应的运作记录。对公司的实体安全,针控管理必需要按客人的要求保存记录。

  八、健康与安全:公司要提供健康安全的工作场所以及有必须的环境保护措施及相关的许可证件。对特种职业的员工要有相应的操作证件。

 

KOHLS验厂品质审核要求

  生产计划与控制:

  工厂是否有未来3-6个月的生产计划?

  有提前一个月的生产计划表吗?

  每周的生产进度报告的保留以便识别和对比正在生产的和完成的符合订单交货日期

  Kohls由Kohl家族于1962年在密尔沃基创立,现在店铺遍布美国34个州。该公司未来两年积极扩展后,规模将扩增三分之一。

  Beginnings成立

  Max Kohl, who had previously operated traditional grocery stores, built his first Kohls supermarket in 1946, first in what would become a southeastern Wisconsin chain known as Kohls Food Stores.In 1962, he started his first department store, also called Kohls Department Stores.

  In 1972 the British-American Tobacco Companys (parent of U.S. subsidiary Brown & Williamson Tobacco Co.) U.S. retail division, BATUS Inc., bought a controlling interest in Kohls Corp., which at the time operated 50 grocery stores, six department stores, three drug stores and three liquor stores.The Kohl family, led by Allen and Herb Kohl, stayed on to manage the company. The family left the management in 1979, and Herb Kohl went on to become a United States Senator and owner of the Milwaukee Bucks. This firm expanded Kohls presence from 10 to 39 stores in Wisconsin, Illinois and Indiana. The grocery stores were eventually sold to A&P in 1983, operating under the name Kohls II, but the last of them were later closed in 2003.

  Expansion发展

  A group of investors, including the senior management, purchased the company in 1986, and the company added 27 more stores in the next two years. In 1988, the chain acquired 26 locations from Chicago-based MainStreet, gaining several stores in Chicagos suburbs, Minneapolis, Minnesota and parts of Michigan. In 1992, the company went public and a period of expansion began. Kohls entered mid-Atlantic markets in 1997 (opening in many former locations of Clover, an offshoot of the Strawbridges corporation, brand department stores in the Philadelphia region) Texas, Missouri and the North East in 1999 Georgia and the Southeast in 2001 New England in 2002 California and the Southwest in 2003 and the Northwest in 2006.

  The chains expansion has mainly focused on the middle of the country however, they recently expanded into the Rochester and Buffalo markets in Western New York. In April 2005, the company opened stores in Florida and other Southern states.

  Opening in January 2007 is Kohls design office, to be located in the heart of New Yorks Garment District. The 23,000-square-foot facility, located at 1359 Broadway, is the companys first product-design presence in the nations fashion capital.
